Celebrating HR Excellence at TDCX!

31 August 2023

Recently, TDCX’s Global HR team concluded its HR Connect Call for the first half of 2023, bringing together HR leaders from our global campuses to assess progress and explore future opportunities.

The event commenced with two insightful learning sessions. May Leng Kwok, Regional Head of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development - APAC, presented on "Navigating HR in the New World," discussing essential skills such as data & analytics, situational decision-making, business acumen, culture & behavior, and a passion for learning, which are crucial for leading companies to success. Group CHRO Chee Gay Lim shared valuable insights on "Generative AI," exploring ChatGPT's various purposes, best practices, and potential challenges.

We are thrilled to share that 14 campuses, including Thailand, China, Singapore, Philippines, India, Spain, Colombia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Türkiye, Vietnam, and Brazil, have been certified as Great Places to Work (GPTW). This recognition highlights TDCX's commitment to fostering a positive work environment for our employees.

During the first half of 2023, TDCX experienced improvements in Employee Satisfaction (ESAT) levels. Our teams remained dedicated to on-time service delivery and enhanced the quality of our recruitment process for both internal stakeholders and prospective candidates. These efforts were met with strong internal stakeholder satisfaction scores across various teams including  Human Resources Information System, HR Mobility, Onboarding, and Operations.

A key highlight was the implementation of 14 Global HR projects including Flashcard and Flash Pulse 2.2, and introducing six new sites during this period. The feedback received has been encouraging, and we continue to strive towards making the feedback process seamless through our end-to-end platform. This will ensure that our employees’ voices are heard and action plans are put in place to improve the employee experience.

Across various country sites, notable progress was observed in hiring, diversity, employee engagement, process optimization, and talent development. Singapore, in particular, demonstrated commendable achievements with workforce diversity, and employee engagement activities, resulting in four awards.

As we look ahead to the second half of 2023, our focus remains on strategic hiring for growth, talent management, succession planning, and process improvements. Market studies will guide our strategies, and we are committed to enhancing the overall employee experience and recognition across different regions. We are also eager to leverage predictive analytics for better employee engagement and to determine the functional competencies required across all job scopes.

The HR Connect Call concluded with the presentation of the GHR Excellence Awards, where we celebrated the outstanding achievements of different sites in various categories.

At TDCX, we are dedicated to improving continually and creating a thriving work environment for our employees. Together, we are on a journey to redefine the future of HR and make a positive impact on our people and the company as a whole.
