SINGAPORE - TDCX Singapore continues to excel with its recent recognitions in "Excellence in HR Innovation" category at the HR Excellence Awards 2020 and “Best Companies to Work for in Asia” at the HR Asia Awards.
Our silver award for HR innovation was attributed to the Digital Interview Platform (DIP) tool, which aims to improve efficiency of job matching and hiring on par through digitalisation. DIP is designed to enable job seekers from all around the world to gain an opportunity with TDCX, on a virtual platform.
Candidates can view available vacancies, apply for jobs, complete preliminary assessments, submit the application and if shortlisted, attend an interview online. Virtual interviews means less stress for candidates, allowing them to be at their best. To date, TDCX Singapore has received almost 4,000 applications from DIP with 100% successful hires in relation to the number of job offers. Talent acquisition teams will receive profiles that match at least 75% of the desired requirements as posted in the job ad on DIP. The platform also provides an option for recruiters to customise assessments in meeting requirements for different clients. Utilising the DIP has reduced hiring time by up to 34% from the industry’s average , while saving up to 90% in cost compared to using a third party solution.
As a “Best Companies to Work for in Asia” at the HR Asia Awards, entries were based on HR Asia’s employee survey report, ensuring that companies are judged by its own employees. At TDCX Singapore, employees are allocated time for learning on TDUniversity (TDCX’s in-house learning platform), LinkedIn Learning or relevant sites. It can also include experiencing work beyond one’s workstation. Incorporating ‘life’ in work means fun activities in the office, staff appreciation initiatives, and volunteering in various communities. Continuous engagement has proven to establish rapport, boost spirits amongst our workforce, resulting in improved performance.
“We have always maintained open communications to hear our people, smoothen out frictions and find ways to do better. This is key in ensuring our employees are happy walking into TDCX SG everyday. Also, by keeping abreast on shifting needs of the global workforce, we are able to anticipate and work on solutions such as the DIP to improve processes for internal teams and potential employees”, said Angie Tay, EVP Singapore & Thailand.
